Getting there!?!
A revolution, when ignited, is the most potent weapon to transform the society.
Nonetheless, even when there is no evident upheaval in the name of a movement, I sense there is a revolution – a dormant one.

The word is out in tinsel town that the super hot hunk of animal kingdom, Mr. Mowgli is out on the streets looking for a soul mate. The shy and handsome NRI dog (he’s a proud Lhasa breed) has finally decided to settle down with a homely wife. In h
is true bindaas style Mowgli has chosen to search for his life-time partner via the ancient tradition of Swayamwar. And helping him out in this search is his daddy Manav Gohil! The Kal Tak news team finds out more.
“He was a gift from me to Shweta“, says Manav. “Mowgli is almost 8 years old now, that means 50 in human years. Least did I know that our Jungle ka King Mowgli will turn out to be a brahamachari” he adds with obvious sadness.
According to Manav, Mowgli has always been more of a football player than interested in worldly affairs like settling down. “Mowgli had been shunning the advances of the colony babes Sweetu and Ivana and this is what got me worried!” informs Manav. He expects a horde of participants for the reality show as thousands of p
otential candidates have already started barking around the Gohil household. The entire animal kingdom is eagerly waiting to see what kind of she-dogs apply and are shortlisted by the heartthrob.

Apart from the stardom that will be showered upon the lucky winner, she would also walk away with a grand prize of 5 nights and 6 days of travel to the park; and not to forget the lifetime supply of pampering and fur scratching! Will the new ‘groom-in-waiting’ avatar of Mowgli turn out to be a success? Will the brides match upto Mowgli’s high standards? And can Mowgli finally learn to not pee on the sofa? Only time will tell.
Tune into bow-bow network every Friday at 9 PM to watch your favourite Mowgli decide his future, breaking the hearts of millions of bitches in the process!
The daddy Manav has sincerely requested the readers to send in the pictures of their own pet dogs for the show at manav@superchooha.com. And please don’t take Article 377 seriously, Mowgli is very straight.

Message from the admin team-
We were at Manav’s place last week working on a new design for the blog as it will soon celebrate its first anniversary. Mowgli however did not like all our attention to be on Manav’s Mac. He was very restless. That’s when we were informed that he is still to find a lovely homely mate. So we thought, as a gesture of gratitude towards the Gohil family we would assist them in finding a Bahu. Hence this post.
Hi friends,
Just came back from a trip to Jayalgarh…….. After the serenity of the mountains the ever evolving civilization almost treated me with a stepmotherly contempt. :)
Alas…. I gave in to its crazy ways and pace and now it finally allows me the luxury of being oriented.
So before any further delays, lemme quickly take you through the trip. These are only in parts….for the real experience… you’ve got to visit the Himalayas!
Since I got married this was the first trip I made just by myself. Shweta loves traveling with me. But I had always dreamt of a trip in this manner.….me my solitude and my camera. Though I was in two minds about going alone…Shweta was pretty sure she wanted me to do this. So I back packed and Shweta was the one who came to see me off at 5 in the morning at the airport.
Day 1- Different faces-same old feeling
I had not really planned this trip. No reservations, nothing. I simply took the first flight out of Mumbai to Delhi. Once I landed I took a cab to get me to my destination, Jayalgarh. It was a breathtakingly beautiful drive. On the way I couldn’t help but stop and click pictures of the picturesque quaint little towns that lined the way to Jayalgarh.
It took a long while but finally at 8 in the evening I reached the camp. It had been 12 years since I had been to a campsite. Every summer I used to head to Dalhousie, Manali or some other camp, exhilarating memories of which flashed by. The fatigue from the day long journey almost instantly vanished the moment I stepped in. This camp too had its share of 15-20 year olds. It was wonderful meeting them and interacting with them. The beauty of this interaction was that though the faces were different the feeling was same. I was nostalgic!!
Day 2- Seasons of life
This day was one of its kind. I woke up to a chilly morning, found myself sweating profusely by noon, and got cooled by the pleasantly cloudy evening when it even drizzled. WAIT… it didn’t just end there!! By night I saw the most amazing, the most intimidating hailstorm. In between all this I managed to capture some amazing hard to get snaps of the ever so elusive lightning bolts.
Any way, now let’s get back to rest of the day. I started the day with rappelling, moved on to rock climbing and finished it off with a trek…Phew! After 12 long years I was tired and hungry yet again.
Spent the evening with the kids talking about everything from Politics, Religion, Spirituality, Karma, Career, Struggles of life and so on. It was a wonderful and enlightening experience. It was very motivating to see the zeal of the youth in seeking answers. That the country’s future is bright was not very difficult to fathom. At the end of day I think I gained a lot from this interaction too.
Phew! I love sharing with you guys. So looks like I have a written a LOOOONG post. I think it would be a good idea to write about day 3 and day 4 in my next post.
Till then loads of love and happiness.
Cheers,
Manav
